It has been quite the week. My parents went back home. We really appreciated their visit. I am going to make an effort to get back to blogging (again). I have been REALLY stressed out. I think it helps to write about what is going on instead of letting all the stress build up. We'll see if it works.
Yesterday I the officers at the prison had to don full riot gear: helmets, padded uniforms, shields, visors, and gloves, etc. Why? One inmate. One. Some 16 year old kid went berserk in the infirmary. I didn't get to see it but I was locked down with my class and saw the officers go get their gear and then saw them hauling the guy hobbled and shackled to his solitary confinement.
Now, the real reason for this post to give you all a laugh. You can even help me grade this essay. To do so you need to know a few things. There is currently a Muslim fad spreading at the prison. So this kid is a recent fan of Islam. The essay for the GED is supposed to be a five paragraph essay (don't get me started on all the reasons the five paragraph essay is a bad teaching tool). So think 1 intro, 3 body and 1 conclusion. The prompt was along the lines of: Benjamin Franklin wrote an essay explaining the benefits of dating older women. Write an essay explaining what is better, dating women your age or older women. Give examples, observations, explanations. With that information here is the essay (typos reflect actual student mistakes).
I wouldn't date any woman, I rather marry them, of course she would be older. And smart and obedient to my needs. She would be my partner, she would not survive alone, emotionally she would n't complain to me she would build herself up from other woman. Bu she would place herself in the hands of me. According to "THE HOLY QUA'RAN" woman are still living in the dark ages and they cannott be trusted. But an older woman would know more about how to nuture her kids and cater to her huspand.
She would she would be my servant, woman are considered weaker than men. But of course I wouldn't treat like that, she would be treated fair and equal to my other wives, but she would know her place in the couple we had. Our kids would be her main priority. She would have to go through me in every decision. But also she would me my source of money if she wanted the barrier.
So, what grade should I give on a scale of a 0 to 100? LOL! Have at it!
